Five years is a long gap between record drops. That’s why Rude Records’ upcoming release is so crucial. With songs like “Golden State,” the band who was away for so long need not worry. American Hi-Fi are very much back.

Coming to a music retailer near you on September 9, Blood & Lemonade promises the pop-rock anthems the platinum selling band has always offered.

The second single from the album, “Golden State,” is available today on VEVO and below. It was shot in LA by director Ryan Valdez.

“We shot the video for Golden State at my studio in Los Angeles,” Singer Stacy Jones notes. “The idea was to shoot the band in the same environment that we made the new record in. We also got some B-roll of us cruising in my ’64 Chevy truck that I have been restoring. The palm trees and sunlight tie in the theme of the song. The Golden State, California, a place that can give you new life if you believe in yourself.”
