On Wednesday, April 8, the Take Action Tour with The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside, I Killed The Prom Queen and Dangerkids came to an end right in Prada’s home state of Ohio.
Kids lined the outside of the Newport in Columbus, eagerly awaiting the show not knowing a select few at the beginning of the line would be meeting the band right as they walked in. As the band greeted it’s guests and snapped photos, others piled in to see the Dangerkids (also from Ohio) perform. Next up, I Killed The Prom Queen with the ever so adored Jona Weinhofen, known also for his previous work with Bring Me The Horizon. These Aussies always put on one hell of a show as does The Ghost Inside.
But, the band everyone had been waiting for – The Devil Wears Prada.
You haven’t seen a passionate set until you’ve seen this band tear it up live. Vocalist, Mike Hranica, is a wild man, keeping the crowd on edge as he makes his unpredictable moves on stage. He had fans moshing, dancing and crowd surfing all night long. It’s safe to say that everyone in the pit was a sweaty mess by the end of the night.
If you missed this tour when it came to a city near you, no fear. All these bands (except IKTPQ) will be on the Vans Warped Tour this summer! Get tickets and we’ll see you on the road!
