Mayday Parade Premiere Music Video for “Hold Onto Me”

Mayday Parade is excited to premiere their new music video for “Hold Onto Me” exclusively with VEVO.

“The video for ‘Hold Onto Me’ is about a group of kids escaping their troubles in the world. They are able to go to a place that’s fantastical and full of wonder. Each kid has something that’s negatively effecting their life similar to some of the lyrics in the song but they are able to escape that and go to aplace that is more positive and innocent.” – Alex Garcia, Guitarist

“Hold Onto Me” is featured on the band’s latest studio album Monsters In The Closet, which debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200. A special deluxe edition of the album is set to release on May 27, 2014, featuring three previously unreleased songs. The re-release is now available for pre-order digitally on iTunes or physically with MerchNow with the packaging including a jewel case with gold-foiled O-card. Bundle options feature a “Hold Onto Me” tank top, Key T-shirt, 16″ x 16″ Satin Throw Pillow, Backpack, Black Leather Keychain, Knee High Socks, and a sticker. Click here to view the bundle options.

Mayday Parade are currently on their U.S. headline run on the “So Devastating, It’s Unnatural Tour”, which features support from We Are The In CrowdTransit, and Divided By Friday. The band will continue touring into the summer with a Main Stage slot on the Vans Warped Tour 2014.

MAYDAY PARADE – For the past seven years, the members of Tallahassee, Florida’s Mayday Parade – Derek Sanders (Vocalist), Jeremy Lenzo (Bassist), Alex Garcia (Guitarist), Brooks Betts (Guitarist), and Jake Bundrick (Drummer) – have honed their patented style of catchy, kinetic pop-punk with an outpour of real rock energy. Their fourth studio album, Monsters In The Closet is a collection of everything the group’s fervent fan base loves about Mayday Parade. The new album shaped the best first week in the band’s history, debuting at #10 on the Billboard Top 200, #2 on the Independent Labels Chart, and selling over 30,000 in the first week. The band has come a long way since their landmark 2007 debut, A Lesson In Romantics, with their cumulative album sales exceeding 650,000, while track sales surpassing 3,000,000. Having crossed the globe on countless tours, the band’s impressive tour resume includes acts such as Plain White T’s, Pierce The Veil, All Time Low, The maine, We The Kings, We Are The In Crowd, and Set Your Goals.
