2013 was a hectic year for pop/rock trio, King The Kid comprised of Ricky Ficarelli, David Michael Frank, and Jose Mostajo. The band hit their mark this past year with a wildly successful Miley Cyrus “Wrecking Ball” cover with over 3.7 million views and Taylor Swift “22” cover featuring friends: Alex Goot, Sam Tsui, Kurt Schneider, and Against The Current. But don’t let the cover fool you, the band released two records this past year, Start Something and Start Something: Reinvented EP, that sent fans wanting more.
This week, the band officially announced their upcoming single “Last Train,” co-produced by the band and Adam Sliger, and is set for release February 4, 2014. To kick off the release week, King The Kid have invited 30 dedicated fans from all over the country to come hang out with them in the studio for the day, which they’ve titled “King The Kid HQ”
On February 1st, fans will gather in Orlando for a unique acoustic performance, lunch with King The Kid, first listen to the band’s newest material, exclusive Q&A session, electric performance, and one on one pictures with the band.
King The Kid are also thrilled to announce they will be heading out with Hollywood Ending on the Freaks and Geeks tour. More details, dates, and venues to be announced. While on the tour King The Kid are offering exclusive fan only RV parties. This exclusive VIP experience is extremely limited per date. The RV Party includes: Polaroid with the band, limited edition tour laminate, acoustic performance in the RV, hear new/unreleased records and cast your vote for the band’s next single. Please note the RV party does not include admission to the show.
Immediately following the tour, King The Kid will be heading down under for the first time to perform at EXPLOAD! YouTube in Melbourne, Australia March 8th.
