Hopeless Records And Sub City Team Up With New Directions for Youth To Launch Sub City Studios Crowdfunding Campaign

Hopeless Records and its non-profit organization Sub City have teamed up with New Directions for Youth to launch an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for Sub City Studios — a recording studio where young people who are passionate about music can learn how to play instruments, record, engineer, produce, and mix music, as well as learn how to sell, distribute and market music. The recording studio will offer a safe and encouraging place for teens after school and during breaks; acting as an alternative to turning towards gangs, drugs and violence. It will be located in Hopeless Records’ hometown of the San Fernando Valley and will be part of New Directions for Youth’s brand new facility opening in 2014. Sub City has already directly funded much of the construction and now looks to fans to help make this project a reality!
There are amazing one-of-a-kind perks from Hopeless Records’ generous artists and friends in the music business, including studio time with renowned music producers Neil Avron, John Feldmann and Mike Green, a writing session with Bert McCracken from The Used, exclusive merchandise from Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, Thrice, The Dangerous Summer and Yellowcard, as well as meet and greet opportunities with All Time Low and Silverstein.
