Florida-based metalcore band, A Day to Remember, has excited our ears once more with their newly released album, Common Courtesy. As the band’s fifth studio album, Common Courtesy continues to solidify and strengthen the passionate and powerful sound we’ve heard from the group over the past decade.  Yet, the new release introduces a shift toward acoustic vulnerability, showing undeniable growth and maturity. Songs like “Leave All The Lights On” and “End of Me” are prime examples of a mainstream pop focus, while songs like opener “City of Ocala” speak directly to our inner hometown-loving, angst-ridden hearts. A Day to Remember continues to grow both within and past the genre, proving that the game simply isn’t over.
