We are happy to announce that last night marked the return of Taking Back Sunday frontman Adam Lazzara to the band’s fall tour. The Sunday night show at The Fillmore Charlotte was Adam’s first performance back with the band since leaving the fall tour after his wife had an unexpected early delivery of their second child. Spencer Chamberlain (Sleepwave, ex-Underoath) stepped up to fill in for Adam on eight dates until the newborn was able to return from the hospital. At last night’s show the two sang together on “Timberwolves At New Jersey,” “Bonus Mosh” and “MakeDamnSure.” Adam’s older son Keaton was also in attendance and came on stage during the band’s performance of “Call Me In The Morning.”
With his family back in good heath, Adam will be rejoin the tour for all the remaining dates. The band whole-heartedly thanks Spencer and all of their fans for their support.
