AIR FORCE RESERVE:
The Air Force Reserve is an integral part of the nation’s defense. The men and women who serve in the Reserve perform the same missions and work side-by-side with those serving on Active Duty with the U.S. Air Force. FULL SAIL UNIVERSITY-ACOUSTIC BASEMENT:
Full Sail University’s Acoustic Basement will return for another summer on the Vans Warped Tour. Last year, the intimate, tented stage quickly became a popular spot for fans to get out of the sun and enjoy an acoustic set from some of their favorite Vans Warped Tour artists. This year’s Acoustic Basement will be bigger and better: the tent will be larger, the stage more raised, and the sound system improved. Artists scheduled to appear on the stage this summer include Craig Owens (Chiodos), Ace Enders (The Early November), William Beckett (The Academy Is…), Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife/I Am the Avalanche), Alcoa (Derek of Defeater), Matt Embree (Rx Bandits), Austin Lucas, Owen Plant and more. And just like last year, spontaneous sets from other Vans Warped Tour artists can happen at any time. Additionally, Full Sail is proud to have three graduates working on tour this year–one to work production on the Acoustic Basement stage, one to work as an onsite content reporter, and one who will work in the Vans Warped Tour production office throughout the tour.
FUSE: Fuse Warped Wednesdays–Wednesdays will air from 10am to 3pm ET–beginning June 26. Tune-in to Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company, this summer for Warped Wednesdays. Every week Warped Wednesdays will feature a weekly dose of music and news from the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, serving as an all-access pass to exclusive interviews with this year’s bands and music videos from Warped artists, past and present. Warped Wednesdays will also include episodes from the first season of “Warped Roadies,” an original half-hour unscripted series that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the Vans Warped Tour as it travels across the country with more than 60 bands. peta2 is the youth division of PETA. We reach out to people between the ages of 13 and 21 and are the world’s largest youth animal rights group, focusing on the four areas where animals are abused the most—for food, clothing, experimentation, and entertainment. Our goal is to equip young people with all the information, literature, advice, and stickers that they need to get active for animals. peta2 was born in 2002 on the Vans Warped Tour, and ever since then, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of young people get active helping animals by doing things like getting veggie burgers added to their school cafeterias or getting dissection choice policies passed.
