Tune in tonight when AWOLNATION perform as the featured musical guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Thursday, May 2 at 11:35pm/10:35pm central. The band will be playing their new song “Some Kind Of Joke,” featured in the major motion picture Iron Man 3: Heroes Fall. The track also appears on the accompanying Inspired By Soundtrack Album. Fresh off a U.S. headline tour, AWOLNATION recently announced several festival dates in both the U.S. and Europe.

The band’s debut album Megalithic Symphony is currently featured in the Amazon MP3 $5 Album Sale for the first 2 weeks of May. Their hit single “Sail” was recently certified 2X Platinum in the U.S., officially selling more than 2,000,000 digital downloads, and is rapidly approaching triple platinum status with more than 2.7 million sold to date. “Sail” also recently reached 4X Platinum status in Canada.

Megalithic Symphony has now been on the charts for 94 weeks, topping the Billboard Independent Albums chart seven separate times in 2012. Having sold more than 470,000 copies worldwide, the album is also certified gold in Canada.

On the rare break between tours, AWOLNATION has been in the studio working on the eagerly anticipated follow up to their debut and is performing several new songs in their live set including “THISKIDSNOTALRIGHT” (featured on the Injustice: Gods Among Us – The Album video game soundtrack), “Cannibals,” as well as “Some Kind Of Joke,” alongside their 2X platinum-certified hit “Sail,” and crowd favorites “Not Your Fault” and “Kill Your Heroes.”

Led by musical architect and vocalist Aaron Bruno, AWOLNATION features keyboard/guitarist Kenny Carkeet, drummer Hayden Scott, Drew Stewart on guitar and Devin Hoffman on bass.
