Rock’s hottest new mainstream crossover band Pierce The Veil has premiered a highly anticipated new video for their fan favorite track “Bulls In The Bronx” today at Vevo.com. Fans have been teased for weeks and the day is finally here!
Watch Pierce The Veil’s new video for “Bulls In The Bronx” below.
“Bulls In The Bronx” was directed by Drew Russ and shot on location in Pasadena. The video finds the band performing their incendiary anthem live in a 100 year old house as two young lovers meet in secret and are transported into a bull-fighting dream world only to have their rendezvous interrupted by an enraged father. Was it all a fantasy or did it really happen?
“I really wanted to have a story people could relate to, as well as have a fun supernatural element to fit the bridge of the song,” Russ recently told MTV.com. “To me, this is such a standout song, and when the bridge hits, it almost transports the listener to another place. I really wanted to represent that on camera.”
The video for “Bulls In The Bronx” is the band’s third video from their widely popular album, Collide With The Sky, which has sold over 100,000 copies since release. Previous videos include “Hell Above” (1.5 Million Views) and “King for a Day” (11.9 Million Views), which was also directed by Russ.
The release of the video, also comes on the heels of news that the band’s entire month-long “Spring Fever Tour,” with co-headliner All Time Low and supporters Mayday Parade and You Me At Six, has completely sold out all dates, including May 3rd’s show at Sears Centre Arena in Chicago (7,000 capacity) and tonight’s show in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium (3,700 capacity), with combined tickets sold reaching over 87,000.
Additionally, Pierce The Veil also celebrated Cinco de Mayo on Sunday with the release of their third, signature hot sauce, “Ragin’ Cajun,” which is availablie now for purchase at http://bit.ly/12bOWPZ. The fiery new sauce is a follow up to their massively popular “En Fuego Hot Sauce” and “Diablo Verde Hot Sauce.”
