Last Friday, etnies participated in the Los Angeles Mission’s annual Easter event for its 16th consecutive year to donate 2,000 pairs of new etnies shoes to the homeless people on the streets of Skid Row.
It was a truly amazing day of giving for those less fortunate. etnies’ owner and CEO Pierre-Andre Senizergues, who began donating with the LA Mission back in 1998, along with etnies staff and pro riders Ryan Sheckler, Cairo Foster, Ben Lewis, Nathan Williams, Tom Dugan and Levi Sherwood were all in attendance volunteering their time to help. With this video, etnies’ Journey to the Soles of Skid Row’s Homeless, we’d like to share our experience with you: http://vimeo.com/etniesvideo/lamissionshoedonation2013

In addition to the shoe donation, the Los Angeles Mission’s annual Easter event last Friday also provided thousands of Skid Row’s homeless with a hot meal, live music, foot washing and Easter baskets for the children. This year marks 38,000 pairs of etnies shoes donated and the brand’s 16th year partnering with the Los Angeles Mission.
