A Day in the Life of Courage My Love – June 8, 2017 – Folkestone, UK

“Today was the last day of our European tour. We finished in the small, historical city of Folkestone, UK. Right from the beginning, we had this bittersweet feeling lingering in our hearts. Excited to play a show that we knew would be meaningful to the fans who had traveled with us through out the tour, and the newcomers we had yet to meet. Bitter because inevitably, we would be leaving this beautiful part of the world the next day.

We decided to explore one last time, walking along the cobblestone streets and venturing along the harbor at sunset. We, of course, had to stop for one last authentic fish and chips dinner on the way. Setting up for the final show of tour, we knew that tonight was going to be a sweaty one. We’d played this venue before last year, and remembered being soaked in sweat by the end of the night. Of course, we weren’t the only ones. Our audience is always mighty over here. Passionate and enthusiastic. They never let us down! By the end of the evening, we were all giving sweat-drenched hugs and singing our lungs out. The perfect end to another adventure filled tour. We can’t wait to be back in the UK!

As I write this, I am currently sitting in our bandwagon, driving through Arizona on our way to the next Vans Warped Tour Date, memories of Europe still putting a smile on my face. It’s not goodbye, it’s ‘see you soon.'” — Mercedes Arn-Horn (vocals)
