Pet Symmetry are joining Polyvinyl label-mates Japandroids and PWR BTTM in releasing music that we are absolutely stoked on this year. The Chicago trio announced the release of their second album Vision on May 26. In addition, the band shared “Stare Collection” off the album as a taste of things to come (via Noisey).

The song wastes no time on an intro, instead diving right into the main riff. The drum kick is the stuff of punk-rock dreams, and frontman Evan Weiss sings of his woes through the three minute runtime. The breakdown that devolves into screeching guitars towards the end is another highlight of the track. Give it a listen:

You can pre-order Vision through Polyvinyl on the label’s website. The band also has a few tour dates around the release date to celebrate the new album. Tickets for those dates are currently on sale.
