With just over a month to go before its global release, a second trailer promoting Fate of the Furious has found its way online.

It’s hard to imagine anyone reading this right now has yet to see the first trailer for Fate of the Furious, but if that is somehow true you might want to prepare yourself a bit for this new footage. Dominic Toretto has turned his back on family for reasons that are not yet clear. It seems Charlize Theron, who plays a cyber criminal, has somehow convinced Dom to turn evil. His friends are set on stopping her, but in order to do that they will have to go to war with the man who brought them together. Check it out:

The trailer above is, without question, one of the wildest trailers we have seen so far this year. Here are a few highlights:

  • Theron remote controls dozens (hundreds? thousands?) of cars
  • Cars topple out of a parking garage by the dozens

  • The Rock uses his bare hands to push a live torpedo into his enemies

  • We see Michelle Rodriguez looking at photos of Brian (Paul Walker)

  • The Rock and Jason Statham get into one hell of a prison brawl

  • Vin Diesel jumps a submarine with his car in order to trick a homing missile into striking said submarine

There is a lot more to enjoy, and it would appear to be only a taste of what F. Gary Gray’s Fate of the Furious has in store for moviegoers.

We will be reviewing Fate ahead of its release, but right now we are curious how you feel about the upcoming eighth installment to the Fast and Furious franchise. After you watch the above trailer a few more times (you know you want to), comment below and let us know.

Fate of the Furious opens everywhere on April 14.
