Spring is fast approaching, which means we’re also getting closer and closer to returning to the world of Alien. We’ve gotten peeks at Alien: Covenant in the last couple of months, but they didn’t give a really clear view of the fearsome Xenomorph. All that changed with the release of the newest trailer for the film.

We find out that our human characters are made up entirely of couples on a colonization mission, which makes their eventual demise even more heartbreaking. They’re shocked to discover human vegetation on the new planet they land on, and eventually stumble upon an Engineer ship, presumably the one taken by Noomi Rapace’s character Elizabeth Shaw from Prometheus. A Facehugger predictably makes its way to a face, and all hell breaks loose from there. In the closing seconds of the trailer we finally see a Xenomorph as it tries to break into an escape vehicle, and it looks enraged. Check it out now:
