Kong: Skull Island has had us cautiously optimistic that the giant ape will return to the movie glory he deserves. The previous trailers for the film have all been promising, but none have been quite as good as the new one that dropped tonight.

There’s a lot of reused footage to get anyone who might have missed out on previous trailers caught up. Our intrepid group of explorers find themselves on the titular Skull Island, their helicopters are knocked down by Kong, and general mayhem ensues. This trailer then introduces new footage that emphasizes the war movie vibe the film is going for, with classic rock blaring over scenes of the reptilian Skullcrawlers menacing the survivors. There are also a ton of new scenes of Kong himself, showing off why he’s the king of the island. Check it out below:

Kong: Skull Island is out next Friday, March 10. The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, Samuel L. Jackson, and John Goodman.
