A wellness vacation is supposed to be relaxing. You go away, sit in a sauna, sweat out your worries, and come back home refreshed. That’s not even remotely close to what appears to be going on in the new trailer for A Cure For Wellness, an upcoming horror film from Gore Verbinski.

This wellness center has some interesting features, from sensory deprivation tanks to creepy, outdated architecture and decor. As our protagonist, played by Dane DeHaan (Chronicle), soon finds out, the creepy facade is hiding even more horrifying secrets and practices. What follows is a collection of unnerving scenes and images, including some weird tentacles in those tanks we mentioned. It all culminates with DeHaan in a chamber filled with people in what appears to be suspended animation. Judging from the trailer, this is not a good sign for DeHaan.

Verbinski is most well-known for the original three Pirates Of The Caribbean films and 2002’s The Ring before those, so it looks the writer-director’s translated back to horror extremely easily. Watch the trailer for A Cure For Wellness below, and catch the film in theaters February 17, 2017.
