In case you’ve been asleep for the last few years, it’s the era of Netflix. When it comes to original content, the streaming service’s (which is sporting a new logo as of late) most recognizable fare is probably the various television shows it offers, but Netflix also has been building up its film distribution as well. To this effect, Netflix recently released a trailer for their upcoming film, Tallulah.

The film stars Ellen Page in the titular role, and finds “Lu” living out of her car while looking for her ex, Nico (Evan Jonigkeit), who apparently made off with all her money. While scavenging for food at a hotel, Lu encounters a mother who at a glance is doing a less than stellar job of caring for her child, and makes the executive decision to take the baby. Lu then goes to Nico’s mother, Margo (Allison Janney), who takes her in when Lu passes off the baby as Nico’s child. From there, it appears we’re in for a whole lot of feelings about abandonment, togetherness, and family, so be sure to have some tissues ready.

Tallulah stars Page, Janney, Jonigkeit, Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), and Uzo Aduba (OITNB) and will be out on Netlfix on July 29.
