Summer does not officially begin for a couple weeks, but festival season is already well underway. It seems every weekend brings another major rock event somewhere in the world, and the lineups tend to feature a veritable who’s who of the industry. We do our best here at Substream to cover these events whenever we are able, but even our vast contributor pool cannot be everywhere all the time. Thankfully, there is YouTube, and that means we can all enjoy far more sets than we can afford to see in person, including the hour-long performances from Rock am Ring 2016.
This past weekend, tens of thousands of people flocked to Germany to attend Rock am Ring. The world famous rock festival welcomed acts from around the globe, including several big names you have seen in the pages of Substream throughout the year. We were unable to send anyone from our team to the show, but fortunately for us (and now you) there was a live stream of the event available in several countries. A few die-hard music fans took it upon themselves to record those streams, and now full sets from several of the festival’s biggest draws have begun finding their way online. You can view sets from Deftones, Billy Talent, and more below in glorious HD.
