It’s been a long two years since AJJ‘s last studio album, Christmas Album, but our wait for new music from the band is almost over. The Phoenix-based group are returning on August 19 with a new album, The Bible 2, and in celebration of that announcement the band released a brand new music video for track “Goodbye, Oh Goodbye” (via Noisey).
Seemingly poking fun at the impressive efforts of OK Go, the entire video is shot in one take, and there’s a lot that goes on in that one take. There’s a dude dressed like a chicken, a tire, balloons, and a bunch of play pit balls. It’s really something that needs to be seen, as the explanation doesn’t give it justice. The end of the video also has a cool look behind the scenes about how the whole thing came together.
In addition to the music video, check below for tour dates, as the band will be playing a few shows in the Southwest to support The Bible 2. Tickets go on sale this Friday on the band’s website. The site also includes pre-orders for the album.
