Michigan experimental post-hardcore quintet Bear Vs Shark has announced they will reunite this June for a benefit show to raise money for, a charity that helps care for children ages 0-6 who were exposed to contaminated water in the ongoing Flint water crisis. This will be Bear Vs Shark’s first show in more than a decade, having initially broken up in December 2005 shortly after the release of their incredible sophomore album Terrorhawk on Equal Vision Records.

Bear Vs Shark’s reunion show will take place on June 25 at the Flint Local in Flint, Michigan, with tickets costing $18 in advance and $20 at the door (although you’re a damn fool if you think this show isn’t selling out ahead of time).

Since BVS’ breakup, frontman Marc Paffi and original BVS drummer Brandon Moss have continued to play together in Bars Of Gold, whose most recent album, Wheels, was released in 2013.

And now, enjoy the music video for Bear Vs Shark’s “Catamaran,” featuring a cameo from yours truly.
