It’s more than likely you were a big fan of American Hi-Fi back in the day, even if you weren’t entirely aware of it. The Boston pop-punk quartet blazed the trail in the early 2000s, with their radio-friendly, enjoyably slick take on the genre.
It’s been 15 years since the release of American Hi-Fi’s self-titled debut, and the band is celebrating the anniversary with a new, acoustic version of the album. Fittingly still self-titled, all 13 songs were re-recorded, including the band’s largest single “Flavor Of The Weak”; the album will be released released by Rude Records on April 29.
