As if crafting one of 2015’s greatest musical accomplishments wasn’t enough for Connecticut-based indie rock/emo outfit The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, the band is already back with a forthcoming 7-inch titled Long Live Happy Birthday via Topshelf Records.

The two-song 7-inch was recorded by TWIABP guitarist/trumpeter Chris Teti at Silver Bullet Studios, and mastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Audio. You can hear the first song off the new EP, “Katamari Duquette” below.

The 7-inch will be released March 25th, and is currently up for preorder on Topshelf Records’ website. The press is out of 1,500 (/1,000 dark blue, /400 opaque pink & opaque yellow swirl, /100 clear w/ green splatter). It’s notable that, for the clear w/ green splatter, $1 from every sale was donated to the Pittsburgh Action Against Rape, which is now sold out.

Finally, in case you missed it, The World Is A Beautiful Place previously announced they will be heading out on a spring tour with Into It. Over It., with support coming from the Sidekicks and Pinegrove. Dates for the tour can be found below.
