Today is a huge day for Tuscaloosa, Alabama, heavy metal outfit Gideon’s camp. The band has announced their signing to Equal Vision Records, where they will release their first record on the label sometime later this year, after releasing their last two albums, Milestone and Calloused, on Facedown Records.

The band will be entering the studio sometime in April with Will Putney (Northlane, Stray From The Path), more than likely after their spring tour, supporting Counterparts, Expire and Knocked Loose from March to mid-April all across the U.S. and Canada.

“As it stands with the material we have right now, I can speak for everyone when I say I truly believe fans of Costs, Milestone, and Calloused will all collectively love this record,” guitarist Daniel McCartney says about the band’s new record. “We have combined the most recent sound of our band with Calloused, and also brought back a lot of the core elements that people loved on Milestone and Costs. I truly believe this record is going to please a lot of people.”
