The weekend of July 20th, people flooded the grounds of Union Park, located just outside of downtown Chicago, for Pitchfork Music Festival. The three day fest consisted of acts big and small, such as headliners Neutral Milk Hotel, Beck, and Kendrick Lamar, and acts like Tune-Yards, St. Vincent, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, Twin Peaks, Deafheaven, and more. Pitchfork’s lineup took several hits this year, with the disbanding of Death Grips, and the death of DJ Rashad in April. Regardless of any obstacles, Pitchfork pushed on, selling out two out of its three days with forty-three diverse acts on its lineup.
