Taking Back Sunday’s newest record, Happiness Is, takes me right back in time with it’s nostalgic sound. Currently signed with independent label, Hopeless Records, the band’s sixth full length album does not disappoint. It has the “classic TBS feel” of their earlier records, yet has a maturity to it that stands out on it’s own. What makes this record special is that it includes the original lineup. In saying that I imply that musically, this album is fantastic. “Better Homes and Gardens” and “Stood A Chance” show that lyrically this band has grown in a monumental way as well. I can confidently say that this record, hands down, will be one of the best that 2014 has to offer.
