PARAMORE GOES PINK FOR PINKTOBER™

To celebrate the launch of the 14th annual PINKTOBER™ campaign, Hard Rock International is excited to announce, Hayley Williams, lead vocalist of the GRAMMY®-nominated and chart-topping rock band Paramore, as this year’s PINKTOBER “Artist Ambassador.”

 

“Millions are affected by breast cancer and Hard Rock’s PINKTOBER campaign is a great way to help raise global awareness, educate fans and support a cause that affects millions of people,” said Hayley Williams, PINKTOBER “Artist Ambassador.” “I look forward to joining Hard Rock International for this empowering and high-energy program.”

 

Hayley will launch the brand’s 2013 breast cancer awareness campaign by making a special memorabilia donation to Hard Rock’s world-famous collection at Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard.  Hayley’s outfit and one of the bicycles ridden in Paramore’s “Still Into You” music video, which has more than 30 million views on YouTube, will become a permanent part of Hard Rock’s more than 77,000 piece memorabilia collection in honor of the 2013 PINKTOBER program.

 

As part of PINKTOBER, Hayley will make appearances while touring the U.S. this fall on Paramore’s “The Self-Titled Tour” beginning on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Seattle. In addition, Hard Rock teamed up with Paramore to provide The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) with tickets to see Paramore in concert. For each of the 27 cities on “The Self-Titled Tour,” BCRF will receive 10 tickets to bring survivors to see Paramore’s performance and meet with the band. To bring PINKTOBER to a close, Hayley will visit Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia to meet with Hard Rock-funded BCRF researchers and donate items featured in Paramore’s “Now” music video to Hard Rock’s memorabilia collection.  Hayley will also present a donation to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation on Hard Rock’s behalf.
