Watch The Frail’s music video for “Back To Me:”
SF’s electro pop force The Frail recently released their new music video “Back To Me”! “Back To Me” marks the second track to debut off of The Frail’s upcoming album LoveDeathLegend. After the successful release of their first single “You Just Wanna Leave” on ARTISTdirect and an accompanied music video premiere on MTV Buzzworthy, The Frail partnered with Zimbio to premiere their sophomore track. Having opened for notable acts including Neon Trees, TV on the Radio and Justice, The Frail is ready for the spotlight. Check out the video for “Back To Me” on Fuse here: http://on.fuse.tv/1a2DcGS
Pushing the boundaries of pop and electronic music to new heights, The Fraildefies traditional genre classification by creating a harmonious hybrid of indie, synth pop and electro. The Frail are set to release their first full-length album LoveDeathLegend, produced by Patrick Brown at Different Fur Studios/Converse Rubber Tracks in Brooklyn, NY. LoveDeathLegend also features collaborations with rapper A1, Kylee Swenson (Loquat), and D.A. (Shinobi Ninja). For more information on The Frail, please visit:www.thefrailsf.com
“Back To Me” delves into the difficult experience of long distance love, as vocalist Daniel Lannon explains, “the song is about two people being far away and wanting to be with each other, while also experiencing the fear that comes with those intense emotions. So it’s a push and pull back kind of feeling. ‘I Can’t Wait To Fly To You’ – ‘I Just Wanna Leave Here Without You'”
The Frail are by no means strangers to the music scene, having opened for Hot Chip, Fuijiya Miyagi, The Teenagers, Wallpaper, Dev, The Cataracs, MSTRKRFT and Goldfrapp to name a few. They have also performed stage-shattering sets at festivals such as SXSW, Treasure Island, Noise Pop and BFD.
The Frail’s velvet-throated vocalist Daniel Lannon and hyper-prolific producer Kevin Durr started the band in 2007 over Craigslist, and recorded their first songs without ever meeting. Along with bandmates Israel Chavarin, Aaron Hazen and Andrew Gomez, they have propelled the group from a Craigslist collaboration to an electro pop act worthy of international acclaim. The Frail have since received press by Urb Magazine, The Gap Fashion Sessions w/ the Mog Music Network, New York Times Style for SXSW and Consequence Of Sound.
